Website Developer (WordPress + Modern Frontend)

Livetecs LLC, a leading provider of web-based Time and Expense tracking solutions with over 15 years of industry experience, is seeking a skilled Website Developer to join their team in Karachi, Pakistan. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday to Friday during the morning shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company website, focusing on delivering high-performance, scalable, visually engaging, and SEO-optimized web experiences. Strong expertise in WordPress and modern frontend technologies is essential to align with current market trends and support the company’s SaaS product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the company website using WordPress, including custom themes and plugin development.
- Implement UI/UX improvements, animations, and interactive web elements to improve user engagement.
- Convert designs from Figma or Adobe XD into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO, focusing on Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate third-party tools such as CRMs, analytics platforms, APIs, and payment gateways.
- Manage website hosting, deployment, and basic server configurations.
- Troubleshoot bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies, CMS platforms, and frontend development trends.
- Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and product teams to deliver cohesive web solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation, with a deep understanding of WordPress architecture.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience working with modern CMS platforms like Webflow.
- Experience with advanced integrations such as WooCommerce, Headless WordPress, and REST APIs is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of hosting environments, CDN configuration, and caching strategies to maintain site stability.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies including ES6+ JavaScript and frameworks like React.js or Next.js.
- Expert-level skills in HTML5 and CSS3, with experience using utility-first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- Ability to translate complex UI/UX designs into polished, functional interfaces featuring smooth animations and interactive elements.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques and technical SEO best practices, including meta tags, schema markup, and structured data.
- Experience with browser developer tools for debugging and version control systems like Git (GitHub/GitLab).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant website development experience.
