Social Gravity is a dynamic digital marketing agency specializing in trades and construction businesses, headquartered in Dublin with clients across Ireland and the UK. The Karachi office serves as the core delivery team, supporting the creation and maintenance of digital assets that drive client success. This role focuses on hands-on website development and maintenance, working closely with SEO and paid advertising teams to ensure every page meets strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and maintaining websites primarily using Elementor, along with at least one other CMS or technology stack. This includes creating new client websites from start to finish, developing campaign landing pages that launch within tight deadlines, and ensuring site security and performance across a growing portfolio. Routine maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, redirects, uptime monitoring, and page speed optimization will be part of your daily work. You will also troubleshoot and fix issues like broken layouts, plugin conflicts, and malfunctioning forms or tracking codes. Developing reusable page templates to streamline future builds is essential. Collaboration with SEO and paid ads teams will ensure that every page is purpose-driven and optimized for conversions. This is a hands-on technical role, not project management.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least two years of experience working on live WordPress websites with accessible URLs for review. Strong proficiency in Elementor is required, along with experience in at least one additional CMS or development stack. You should have solid skills in hand-written CSS, including Flexbox, Grid, custom properties, and clean overrides. Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript is essential, covering DOM manipulation, event handling, fetch API, form validation, and integration of third-party scripts. Experience with website performance optimization techniques such as Lighthouse audits, image sizing, caching, and improving metrics like Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) is necessary. Knowledge of WordPress security best practices, including cleaning and recovering hacked sites, is expected. Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and ads conversion tracking is required. Basic technical SEO understanding, version control with Git, and a disciplined approach to testing changes on staging environments before going live are also important.

Social Gravity operates as an AI-first agency, integrating artificial intelligence tools into daily workflows. You will regularly use AI to assist with writing and cleaning CSS and JavaScript, debugging, drafting copy and alt text, and automating repetitive tasks through small scripts. A critical part of the role is to thoroughly review and understand all AI-generated output before deployment. During the interview process, candidates will be asked to discuss their experience working with AI, including examples of where AI made mistakes and how those were identified and corrected.
This position is based on-site in Karachi, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The starting salary is competitive, beginning at Rs80,000 per month.
