WeKeep aims to be the platform to power the financial needs of small to medium businesses, starting with accounting.
As a backend engineer, you will build and expand APIs and services to enable integrations with third-party platforms.
This is a critical role that will not only build a robust API infrastructure from scratch, but also open up new channels for us to grow.
In this role, you will be empowered to make some of the most significant early decisions for the company.
You will:
- Architect and design engineering projects
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
- Mentor junior engineers earlier in their technical careers to help them grow
You have:
- 7+ years with Django building scalable Saas applications
- DevOps experience: setting up a scalable infrastructure from scratch
- Setting up testing, CI/CD flows from scratch
- Passion for building high quality products from the ground up
- Patience and eagerness to be part of a long journey to help in building a great product
- Have experience in API design
Nice to have:
- Experience in an early-stage startup
Our current tech stack is:
- Backend: Django, Postgresql, Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis
- Frontend: React, Webpack, Sass
- Infra: GCP, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Docker
