Welding Fitter

We are seeking a skilled professional experienced in metal fitting, assembly, welding, and fabrication to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to accurately assemble and fit metal components. This role involves hands-on work with various welding techniques, routine maintenance, and fabrication tasks to support the manufacturing and repair of structural frames, machinery, and custom metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

Fitting & Assembly: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop specifications to align, assemble, and fit metal components or machine parts with precision.

Welding: Execute MIG, TIG, Arc (stick), and gas welding processes to join structural frames, pipes, and equipment parts, ensuring strong and durable welds.

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical failures, and repair or replace damaged metal sections or machinery components to minimize downtime.

Fabrication: Cut, grind, bend, and shape metal stock to fabricate brackets, handrails, frames, and custom parts according to specifications.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in metal fitting, assembly, and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, Arc (stick), and gas welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Proficient in metal fabrication processes including cutting, grinding, bending, and shaping.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 17,000 to Rs 110,000, commensurate with experience and skills. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work on-site.
