We are looking for the services of "Head Chef "

Job Description:

Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales, Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients, Present, garnish and arrange final dishes, Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
Cook food in a timely manner
Delegate tasks to kitchen staff, Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Ensure appealing plate presentation
Slightly modify recipes to enhance quality and taste
Monitor overall food stock and place orders
Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain inventories
Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients

Requirements:

Minimum ten (10) years of hotel, institutional, restaurant, or catering company cooking experience
Must have Current SERVSAFE certification or has successfully completed a sanitation course
Associate degree in hotel or institutional food preparation preferred
Demonstrated knowledge in cooking and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard food service equipment
Oral communication
Planning, problem solving, and teamwork
Maintain Recipe book
Expert in short time notice cooking
Expert in all types of cuisines
Excellent HSE experience and food safety
