Presence Builder is seeking an experienced Wikipedia Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, drafting, editing, and enhancing Wikipedia articles while strictly adhering to Wikipedia’s policies, sourcing standards, and editorial guidelines. This role requires a strong commitment to accuracy, neutrality, and compliance with Wikipedia’s community standards to ensure high-quality content that meets notability and verifiability criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research reliable and independent sources related to individuals, companies, organizations, and other notable subjects.
- Draft new Wikipedia articles using neutral, encyclopedic language that aligns with Wikipedia’s tone and style.
- Edit and improve existing Wikipedia pages to enhance clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Add and properly format citations using trustworthy secondary sources to support article content.
- Evaluate subjects for Wikipedia notability and identify any gaps in sourcing or content.
- Manage article submissions, revisions, and respond to editorial feedback from the Wikipedia community.
- Review pages for compliance with Wikipedia policies, including sourcing, formatting, neutrality, and editorial standards.
- Monitor assigned Wikipedia pages regularly and update them as necessary to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Maintain detailed records of sources, drafts, edits, and overall project progress to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience editing Wikipedia articles with a solid understanding of the platform’s editing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Wikipedia policies such as notability, reliable sourcing, neutral point of view, conflict of interest, and verifiability.
- Ability to identify and utilize high-quality, independent sources to support article content.
- Excellent written English skills combined with strong research capabilities.
- Proficiency in Wikipedia markup language and citation formatting techniques.
- Ability to independently assess whether a subject meets Wikipedia’s inclusion criteria.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow strict editorial guidelines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An established history of Wikipedia editing, demonstrating familiarity with the platform’s community and editorial processes.
- Experience creating or substantially improving biographies and company-related articles.
- Knowledge of Wikipedia’s Articles for Creation process, deletion discussions, talk pages, and other editorial workflows.
- Experience collaborating with researchers, executives, entrepreneurs, or public figures to develop accurate and well-sourced content.

This is a full-time position with Presence Builder. Candidates may be required to provide examples of their previous Wikipedia work or share their Wikipedia editing history during the screening process.
