Wing Head

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join its Finance & Special Projects department as a full-time Wing Head & Cost based in Islamabad. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the cost control functions within the Finance & Special Projects department, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of expenses.
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies to improve financial efficiency across various projects and departments.
- Coordinate with different teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify areas for improvement or corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards related to financial management.
- Support special projects by providing financial analysis, risk assessment, and cost-benefit evaluations.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial goals with the bank’s strategic priorities.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost management, financial planning, or a similar role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and driving performance.
