The position requires working closely with clients on-site to understand their day-to-day business processes and translate these into actionable ERP solutions. The Associate Consultant will be responsible for performing gap analyses to identify areas where standard Odoo features suffice or where customization is necessary. They will coordinate with Odoo vendors and development teams, track project progress, prepare and conduct user acceptance testing, support data migration efforts, facilitate user training, and provide critical support during and after the Go-Live phase. The ideal candidate is skilled at problem-solving, tracking issues through to resolution, managing comprehensive documentation, and maintaining clear, ongoing communication with all project stakeholders to ensure successful ERP implementation and user adoption.
Responsibilities

Work on-site with the client to fully understand their daily business operations and requirements.
Collect and document detailed requirements from multiple departments and users.
Conduct gap analysis to determine the fit of standard Odoo modules against business needs and recommend customizations when necessary.
Collaborate closely with the Odoo vendor and internal development teams regarding system configuration, customization, reporting, and integration.
Monitor and follow up on pending project tasks, issues, and deliverables in coordination with the vendor.
Coordinate implementation activities across various departments, branches, and concurrent projects to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Review and verify the work delivered by the vendor to ensure compliance with agreed specifications and business requirements.
Design test scenarios and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality before deployment.
Identify, report, and track issues discovered during testing, ensuring they are resolved prior to Go-Live.
Assist in the preparation and migration of essential data sets including customers, vendors, products, inventory, accounting entries, and opening balances.
Organize and conduct user training sessions to facilitate smooth adoption of the new Odoo system and processes.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including requirements, meeting minutes, issue logs, and progress reports.
Provide ongoing support to users during the Go-Live phase and manage post-Go-Live issue resolution and coordination.
Keep management regularly informed about project status, pending tasks, critical issues, and any delays encountered throughout the implementation.
Apply knowledge of Odoo ERP workflows and modules to optimize and streamline business processes effectively.
Use Microsoft Excel to analyze data and support reporting and migration tasks.
Manage multiple responsibilities concurrently while coordinating seamlessly between users, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
