The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses a strong foundation in electrical load analysis, energy efficiency optimization, and project management. This role requires monitoring and managing the performance of the factory's solar power system, tracking electricity generation and consumption, and maintaining detailed consumption reports across various operational divisions. The engineer collaborates closely with external consultants, vendors, and utility companies to ensure seamless grid interconnection and system efficiency while maintaining compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules. The role emphasizes analytical reporting and the ability to identify and implement cost-saving energy improvements. Working independently, the engineer will investigate power failures, support the installation of advanced energy meters and monitoring systems, and coordinate with production teams to enhance overall energy efficiency within the facility. A solid understanding of high tension and low tension electrical systems, transformers, protection mechanisms, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems is essential. Effective problem-solving skills and familiarity with automation and IoT-based monitoring technologies will significantly benefit this position.
Responsibilities

Monitor and manage the factory's solar power system to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Track daily electricity generation, consumption, import, export, and system efficiency metrics.
Develop and maintain accurate electricity consumption reports organized by project, department, and machinery.
Analyze energy usage trends to identify opportunities for reducing electricity costs and improving efficiency.
Coordinate with distribution companies (DISCOs), consultants, and vendors regarding power supply and technical issues.
Oversee the condition and operation of transformers, high tension and low tension electrical panels, generators, and power factor correction systems.
Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring solar expansion initiatives, power wheeling, and other energy-focused projects.
Investigate electrical failures and power interruptions, diagnosing problems and recommending corrective solutions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports presenting key energy performance indicators and operational insights.
Support the installation and configuration of energy meters, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and automation technologies.
Collaborate with production teams to implement strategies enhancing overall energy efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of electrical system performance, repairs, upgrades, and safety compliance.
Stay updated on technological advancements related to energy management, solar power systems, and electrical engineering best practices.
