WordPress Developer Intern

Located in DHA 6, Lahore, this internship opportunity at Xavor is designed for individuals eager to gain practical experience in managing live corporate websites using WordPress. The role is well-suited for candidates with foundational knowledge of WordPress who want to develop their skills by supporting the daily operations and maintenance of company websites in an onsite setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and format various website content including pages, blogs, case studies, and landing pages within the WordPress platform.
- Manage website elements such as images, links, calls-to-action (CTAs), forms, and menus to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Perform routine website maintenance tasks and troubleshoot minor WordPress-related issues to maintain site functionality.
- Conduct regular checks for broken links, formatting inconsistencies, outdated content, and ensure mobile responsiveness across pages.
- Assist with plugin updates, manage redirects, and support basic on-page SEO efforts to enhance website performance.
- Collaborate effectively with content creators, designers, SEO specialists, and developers to coordinate timely website updates and improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Basic hands-on experience with WordPress, including familiarity with pages, posts, plugins, media management, menus, and page builders.
- Fundamental understanding of HTML and CSS is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve website issues efficiently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and document tasks clearly.
- Ability to learn quickly and independently manage routine website operations with minimal supervision.
