WordPress developer

Hammani Tech, a dynamic IT services provider specializing in web development, software development, digital marketing, and graphic designing, is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join its team. This full-time, on-site position is based in Islamabad and requires a candidate with at least two years of proven experience in WordPress development. The successful applicant will play a key role in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites that are high-performing, responsive, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites and custom themes tailored to project requirements.
- Customize and build plugins to extend website functionality as needed.
- Convert Figma or PSD designs into fully responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO to ensure excellent user experience and search engine ranking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress-related technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with designers and developers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Stay current with the latest WordPress tools, themes, and plugins to implement best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of website migration processes and security best practices.
