WordPress Developer

We are looking for a dependable and skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time, hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites that meet our design and functional standards. This role involves working 3 to 4 hours regularly on-site, with the exact location details provided during the interview. Additionally, the candidate should be available remotely for urgent updates and communications outside of on-site hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites that provide excellent user experiences.
- Customize existing themes and plugins to fulfill specific project requirements.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness to ensure smooth functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with design and content teams to create cohesive and visually appealing websites.
- Ensure all websites are SEO-friendly and comply with security best practices.
- Perform routine backups and system updates to maintain website integrity and security.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in WordPress development supported by a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of website speed optimization techniques and basic SEO principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
