This opportunity is contract-based with potential for ongoing hourly tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites from initial concept through to deployment. Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites that function seamlessly across various browsers and devices. Customize WordPress themes and templates using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Create and integrate custom WordPress plugins and additional functionality as required. Work with popular page builders and WordPress tools while ensuring clean, scalable code implementations. Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into fully functional WordPress sites. Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, SEO, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress core, plugins, themes, hosting environments, and compatibility. Manage WordPress updates, backups, migrations, and ongoing site maintenance. Integrate third-party APIs, forms, analytics tools, payment gateways, and other web services when necessary.

Required Qualifications

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development. Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including themes, plugins, and customization techniques. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. Understanding of website performance optimization strategies such as caching, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals. Experience in developing custom WordPress themes or plugins.
