We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining websites. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap, and WordPress. You should be capable of converting Figma designs into fully responsive websites that perform seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our web development team to create new websites, update existing ones, resolve technical issues, and enhance website speed and overall performance. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Johar Town, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress.
- Convert Figma designs into responsive, user-friendly web pages.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Bootstrap in website development.
- Implement Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create editable sections within websites.
- Work with both custom WordPress themes and pre-existing themes.
- Use Elementor page builder when required.
- Troubleshoot and fix layout issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and optimize loading times.
- Update WordPress themes and plugins regularly and perform basic website backups.
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of practical experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Working knowledge of Bootstrap framework.
- Understanding of WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
- Basic experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive web pages.
- Familiarity with Elementor page builder.
- Basic knowledge of website speed optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with custom WordPress themes.
- Knowledge of custom post types and WordPress functions.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of website SEO and performance testing.
- Monthly salary range: Rs50,000 to Rs60,000.
- Work location: On-site in Johar Town, Lahore.
