Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a WordPress developer with foundational skills to support ongoing projects and manage daily development tasks. This role offers the opportunity to grow into more advanced responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with custom themes, front-end adjustments, and routine site maintenance while collaborating effectively with designers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and update custom WordPress themes based on provided designs.
- Implement front-end changes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Configure plugins, resolve basic issues, and maintain core site functionality.
- Assist with content setup, page creation, and layout adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure smooth updates.
- Collaborate with designers and team members to meet project requirements.
- Adhere to coding standards and participate in simple code reviews.

Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.
- Solid understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and the admin panel.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and its integration with WordPress.
- Ability to write clean HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript code.
- Understanding of responsive design principles.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Experience
- Experience working with WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) or similar tools.
- Experience with site migrations between hosting providers.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.

This position is based onsite at Gulistan-e-Johar, Block 20, Karachi, with working hours starting from 4 PM onwards.
