We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer with 6 months to 1 year of practical experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in WordPress website development, including theme and plugin customization, troubleshooting, and ongoing website maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to building responsive, user-friendly websites while ensuring optimal performance and cross-browser compatibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet project specifications.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on client and project requirements.
- Create responsive and user-friendly web pages that function well across various devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues and errors efficiently.
- Perform regular updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins to maintain security and functionality.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, PHP, and basic JavaScript to enhance website features and functionality.
- Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and basic SEO best practices.
- Assist with website integrations, including forms, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Conduct basic website backups, migrations, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and QA team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Test websites thoroughly and resolve any issues prior to deployment.
- Maintain clean, organized code and adhere to established development standards.

Required Qualifications

- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Solid understanding of the WordPress content management system (CMS).
- Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Basic proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WordPress page builders such as Elementor.
- Basic knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Understanding of MySQL and the WordPress database structure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Work Location
