WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our on-site team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, along with a strong grasp of modern web development practices. This role demands a technically proficient and detail-oriented professional who is eager to utilize AI tools to improve development efficiency and productivity. The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a competitive monthly salary between PKR 40,000 and 60,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to project requirements.
- Create responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, layouts, and functionalities as needed.
- Utilize page builders such as Elementor and other WordPress tools effectively.
- Write and modify code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, bugs, and technical issues promptly.
- Manage website updates, backups, migrations, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs when required.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver high-quality website projects.
- Research and implement technical solutions tailored to project needs.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress CMS, including themes, plugins, and customization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor or similar page builders.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with website speed optimization, security measures, and basic SEO practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for maintaining WordPress websites.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Ability to leverage AI tools for coding assistance, debugging, troubleshooting, and research, while critically reviewing and customizing AI-generated code.
- Interest in exploring and integrating new AI technologies into daily development workflows.
- While AI tool experience is preferred, strong WordPress fundamentals and practical technical skills remain the highest priority.
- The ideal candidate is a technically capable and creative developer who can independently build professional-grade WordPress websites, solve complex development challenges, and enhance productivity through modern tools, including AI.

This is an on-site role based in Lahore, located on the 1st Floor, 436-Q, Phase 2, DHA, opposite Avenue Mall, Ghazi Road. Candidates should be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. The work schedule is Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a monthly salary range of PKR 40,000 to 60,000.
