Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team at Boost Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including creating custom WordPress themes, developing plugins, and optimizing websites for high performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable WordPress solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Custom Development: Design and build custom, high-performing WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Page Builders & Frameworks: Demonstrate hands-on expertise with popular page builders such as Elementor Pro, WPBakery Page Builder, and the Gutenberg block editor.

WooCommerce Solutions: Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce stores, including integrating custom payment gateways and ensuring smooth e-commerce functionality.

Speed & Performance: Optimize website loading speeds, improve Core Web Vitals, and enhance database performance using tools like PageSpeed Insights and SEO plugins such as Rank Math or Yoast.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Efficiently diagnose and resolve website bugs, plugin conflicts, database errors, and manage staging-to-live migrations with minimal downtime.

Security & APIs: Implement secure coding practices, integrate REST APIs, and maintain overall website security to protect client data and ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer, preferably with agency experience.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

WordPress Expertise: Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, including database schema and the use of action and filter hooks.

Environment Management: Experience working with staging environments, DNS management, and domain or hosting transfers.

Design Implementation: Ability to convert Figma or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, fully responsive WordPress layouts.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
