WordPress Developer (SEO & Performance)

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with a strong focus on SEO and website performance to join our team in Clifton, Karachi. This full-time, on-site role requires a professional who can independently manage WordPress development, customization, troubleshooting, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience building fast, responsive, and SEO-friendly websites, beyond basic content editing or Elementor use. You will work closely with our SEO expert to implement technical and on-page SEO requirements, ensuring all websites perform excellently across devices and meet modern web standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and customize WordPress websites, including creating new pages and high-converting landing pages.
- Work extensively with Elementor and Elementor Pro to build and modify layouts and templates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plugin and theme conflicts, fix broken layouts, and address technical issues independently.
- Manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates safely without disrupting site functionality.
- Ensure full mobile and tablet responsiveness and maintain website structure and navigation.
- Implement SEO best practices such as proper heading structures (H1, H2, H3), SEO-friendly URLs, meta titles/descriptions, image ALT tags, internal linking, schema markup, canonical tags, 301 redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and indexing controls.
- Collaborate with the SEO expert to apply SEO strategies and conduct SEO reviews, making necessary corrections promptly.
- Optimize website speed and performance focusing on Google PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), image optimization, caching, CSS/JavaScript optimization, lazy loading, and mobile performance.
- Develop professional, fast-loading, conversion-focused landing pages suitable for Google Ads/PPC and optimized for WhatsApp and phone calls.
- Optionally, support CRM and marketing automation integrations, including GoHighLevel, WhatsApp, APIs, webhooks, Zapier, Make, lead forms, and conversion tracking.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5+ years of practical WordPress development experience with strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in Elementor and Elementor Pro.
- Solid skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic-to-intermediate PHP.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks (actions and filters), functions, and basic MySQL/database knowledge.
- Ability to perform custom WordPress development beyond plugin dependency.
- Experience troubleshooting WordPress issues and managing responsive website development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and technical SEO implementation.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of on-page and technical SEO, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads landing page optimization.
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, API/webhook integrations, and tools like GoHighLevel.
- Ability to handle multiple websites efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Candidates with additional expertise in SEO, automation, CRM, advanced WordPress development, and website performance optimization will be highly preferred.
- Immediate hiring with a competitive monthly salary range of PKR 70,000 to 75,000, depending on skills and experience.
