WordPress Plugin Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated WordPress Developer to join our in-house team based in Sialkot, the City of Iqbal. This role is ideal for professionals currently working outside Sialkot who wish to return to their hometown and thrive in a world-class environment producing code that powers hundreds of thousands of websites. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, update, and conduct research and development for our WordPress products.
- Provide technical support to customers using our products.
- Develop technical solutions to complex business challenges by producing clean, efficient code.
- Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Research, design, implement, and manage software programs related to WordPress themes and plugins.
- Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop necessary enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the front-end development team to translate responsive designs into functional themes and plugins.
- Maintain, expand, and scale existing products while ensuring high performance and availability.
- Train team members to build a reliable backup pool of developers.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing WordPress plugins and themes.
- Strong programming skills in PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, and JSON.
- Solid understanding of WordPress web development processes, including development and deployment using tools such as Git and Nginx.
- Deep knowledge of content management systems and current industry trends.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP), database management, logic building, and debugging.
- Ability to quickly read, write, and modify code with strong debugging skills.
- Experience in establishing and guiding product architecture for websites and plugins.
- Familiarity with various operating systems including Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.
- Ability to act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting PHP/back-end issues related to WordPress plugins and customized themes.
