WordPress & Shopify Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented WordPress and Shopify Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, functional, and responsive websites that meet client requirements using WordPress and Shopify platforms. This position suits someone who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of design and UX/UI principles.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and customize websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms. Develop clean, modern, and responsive layouts optimized for all device types. Customize themes and templates to reflect client branding and preferences. Install and configure plugins and apps to enhance website features and functionality. Work closely with content creators, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues quickly and efficiently. Keep up to date with the latest web design trends and platform updates to maintain advanced skills.

Required Qualifications
Proficiency in WordPress and Shopify platforms is essential. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is required. Experience with popular page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery is necessary. Familiarity with Shopify themes including Dawn, Debut, and custom themes is expected. A solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web design is important. Candidates must have a portfolio showcasing previous WordPress and Shopify projects. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently is critical. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Knowledge of SEO best practices to improve website visibility is a plus. Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is advantageous. Graphic design skills for creating banners and website assets are beneficial. Experience with WooCommerce or Shopify Plus platforms will be considered an asset.
