WordPress / Shopify Developer

Milestone Apps is seeking a skilled WordPress and Shopify Developer to join our team at our Gulberg, Lahore office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements to development and final delivery. This role demands a proactive individual who can take full ownership of tasks while ensuring high-quality results and effective collaboration within the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of WordPress and Shopify projects, overseeing all phases from planning through deployment.
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project specifications.
- Build and tailor Shopify stores, including themes and third-party integrations.
- Ensure websites are responsive, compatible across browsers, and optimized for performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs efficiently to maintain smooth functionality.
- Collaborate closely with team members and communicate project progress clearly and promptly.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with WordPress and Shopify platforms.
- Strong expertise in customizing WordPress themes and integrating plugins effectively.
- Proven experience in responsive front-end development and website performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, including custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields, and plugin development.
- Good knowledge of the WordPress database structure and how it supports site functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and project updates.

This is a full-time, strictly onsite position based at our Gulberg, Lahore office. Candidates must be willing and able to work from the office location, as remote work is not available for this role.
