We are looking for a skilled WordPress and Shopify Developer with at least two years of hands-on experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing e-commerce and business websites using clean, responsive, and scalable code. This role demands a self-driven professional who can work independently, deliver high-quality solutions, and collaborate effectively with designers and project managers to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.
- Build Shopify stores, customize themes, and integrate third-party applications to enhance site functionality.
- Identify and resolve bugs, improve website performance, and optimize loading speeds.
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly layouts to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Integrate payment gateways and various third-party APIs to enable smooth transaction processing.
- Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Maintain and update existing websites to uphold security standards and functionality.
- Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with WordPress and Shopify platforms.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Liquid, and PHP.
- Demonstrated expertise in custom theme development for both WordPress and Shopify.
- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.
- Experience working with Shopify Online Store 2.0 features and capabilities.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce and Shopify apps to extend e-commerce functionality.
- Ability to convert design files from Figma or Adobe XD into fully functional WordPress or Shopify websites.
- Skilled in website speed optimization techniques to enhance overall user experience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently meet project deadlines.
This position offers flexible employment options, including full-time and part-time arrangements. Compensation ranges from Rs15,000 to Rs20,000 per month. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while contributing to dynamic and innovative web development projects.
