Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage end-to-end automation workflows using the Workato integration platform, spanning cloud and on-premise applications.
- Develop Workato recipes that include triggers, actions, conditional logic, and loops to automate complex business processes and data flows.
- Integrate various SaaS and enterprise applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, and Slack using Workato connectors and custom HTTP connectors.
- Perform data transformation and mapping within Workato, utilizing formula mode, list processing, and JSON/XML manipulation to ensure smooth data exchange.
- Implement robust error handling strategies, including exception management, retries, alerts, and monitor recipe performance and logs.
- Manage API exposure and consumption through Workato’s API platform by setting up API endpoints, managing authentication, and handling webhooks.
- Ensure security and governance by managing workspace roles, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure handling of credentials and sensitive data using encrypted properties.
- Collaborate effectively by leveraging Workato’s versioning, cloning, and environment promotion features to manage recipe lifecycle across development, staging, and production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise with the Workato platform, including hands-on experience in recipe development, orchestration, and application integration.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation techniques and error handling within Workato.
- Experience integrating multiple SaaS and enterprise applications using Workato connectors.
- Familiarity with API management, including endpoint setup, authentication, and webhook handling.
- Understanding of security best practices in workspace management and credential handling.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage lifecycle processes using Workato’s environment promotion and version control features.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Understanding of business process automation and workflow optimization principles.
- Experience with scripting or coding languages such as JavaScript or Python to implement custom logic within Workato.
- Familiarity with iPaaS concepts and other integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Zapier.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for querying and integration purposes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with SaaS ecosystems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams.
