Duties & Responsibilities

1.          Handling cash receipts and payments, and prepare cash reconciliation.

2.          Coordination with banks for day to day transaction (Funds transfer, Foreign currency conversions etc)

3.          Prepare bank reconciliations.

4.          Arrangement and transfer of funds to regional offices.

5.          Enter financial data in system.

6.          Assist manager treasury for various investments.

7.          Prepare detail of withholding tax, and deposit in bank.

8.          E filing of withholding tax statements.

9.          Coordinate in compilation of financial data and provide accurate and up-dated financial information to donor and senior management on a continuous basis.

10.       Provide financial details as may be required for tax purposes and by auditors.

11.       Coordinate external annual and project specific audits.

12.       Coordinate / facilitate internal audit of projects / offices as per the annual audit plan.

13.       Follow up the Accounts Receivable and Payable and arrange their settlements in consultation with relevant department. Individual and organizations.

14.       Transport arrangement & maintenance

15.       Vehicles logbook verification and monthly mileage allocation

16.       Arrangement of Air/ Train/ Bus/ tickets for the staff

17.       Supervision of Service staff

18.       Office procurements as per guidelines

19.       To deal with EOBI /Courier/PABX/ Photocopy Machine

20.       Maintenance of Leave record/leave application

 

 

Selection Criteria

Education, Experience & Working Knowledge

ð          A well-established personal commitment to nature conservation;

ð          Should have one of the following professional qualifications:

MBA, M.Com,

ð          Should have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in Finance & Accounting;

ð          Financial and Accounting Management;

ð          Knowledge of accounting software (preferably  Sage ERP ACCPAC )

 

Other Skills & Attributes

 

ð           Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and results orientation;

ð           Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills;

ð           Ability to handle complexity and multi-tasking.

ð           Sensitivity to gender and other current social issues in countries such as Pakistan;

ð           Proficiency in the use of computer office applications on word processing, spreadsheet and presentation;
