Social Media Executive
Job Description
As a Social Media Manager you are responsible for creating engaging content across multiple online platforms that ensures our client’s message is communicated and audience engaged.
This role is part copywriter, part online trend/technology tracker and part multimedia storyteller.
As part of the Content Team you will work closely with the designers to ensure a defined visual and written identity for the specific brands and projects.
You will support and oversee production of content across channels be it motion graphic, video, audio or static images.
Based on specific guidelines you will work with defining content direction and pillars, style and tone of voice for different clients.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy:
Supporting Client Service team pulling audience insights together for pitches and content strategies.
Content Ideation:
Build briefs for internal product or external suppliers and inspire the content idea process.
Support on concept development of campaign elements
Copywriting and creation of brand-related content on multiple online platforms – mainly social.
Working closely with Client Service, Media and Creative to ensure that all tasks are executed to the highest of standards.
Researches and analyses social media trends including social media ad revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
Content Management:
Manage content calendars and publishing via content management systems.
Manage and/or oversee content executions in collaboration with suppliers and in-house designers/videographer.
Proofreading of all content.
Keeping up with multiple projects simultaneously and being able to manage your schedule and workflow
Community Management:
Maintain channel health including scheduling and reporting on evergreen and campaign content to update client service lead.
Use social listening and analytics tools to find the conversations happening around your brand and industry to further enhance content outputs.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Collating trending topics that our clients can benefit from and circulating ideas to relevant team members.
Collaborate across teams to plan and execute complex marketing campaigns.
Managing reactionary posts for our clients on their online channels and support on live coverage content creation.
Researching visual content ideas to be shared in weekly content team meetings.
Take part in brainstorms for content ideas and creating/circulating any pre-brainstorm details.
Attending and contributing to all content brainstorms
Typing up content ideas from brainstorms, adding keywords and search visibility
Dealing with ad-hoc content requests
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Carry out Competitor Analysis and identify best marketing activities
