YouTube Scriptwriter

InSol360, a Lahore-based video marketing agency specializing in managing and growing YouTube channels for US brands in health, legal, and education sectors, is seeking a talented scriptwriter. Our clients include notable names such as Novocure, a medical device company in oncology, and Nestle Health Science. If you have the ability to craft compelling scripts that captivate viewers within the first 30 seconds and sustain their interest throughout, we want to hear from you. This role involves creating engaging video content that aligns with each channel’s unique voice and contributes to measurable audience growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Write a minimum of 16 scripts per month, including both long-form videos and Shorts.
- Conduct thorough research on each topic using keyword data, competitor videos, and reliable sources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Develop openings that hook viewers and encourage them to watch beyond the initial 30 seconds.
- Propose effective titles and thumbnail text alongside every script to maximize click-through rates.
- Adapt writing style to match the tone of various channels, ranging from serious health explainers to light, entertaining educational content.
- Collaborate closely with project owners, editors, and designers to refine scripts into polished videos.
- Analyze viewer retention data for every video scripted and use insights to improve future content.

Required Qualifications
- Proficient English writing skills that sound natural to a US audience: clear, simple, and error-free.
- A strong understanding of American culture and lifestyle, with the ability to incorporate timely references or slang appropriately.
- At least one year of professional experience in scriptwriting, copywriting, journalism, or content creation. Exceptional fresh graduates with published work are also encouraged to apply.
- Submission of writing samples is mandatory; having a published video script is a significant advantage.
- Meticulous research skills, especially critical in health and legal topics where accuracy is paramount.
- Competence in using AI writing tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, combined with the discernment to evaluate and improve their outputs.
- Willingness to accept feedback and make prompt revisions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience writing content related to health, medical, legal, or educational fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with short-form video scripts for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok.
