YouTube Video Editor – Faceless Documentaries & Talking-Head Videos

We are looking for talented and creative video editors to join our team and work on a variety of YouTube projects, including faceless documentaries, talking-head videos, educational content, and other long-form video formats.

Role Overview As a YouTube Video Editor at Clavix Solutions, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage, voiceovers, and scripts into polished, engaging videos. You should understand pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and how to use visuals to make content more interesting.

We are looking for editors who can work independently, follow project guidelines, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Edit long-form YouTube videos, including faceless documentaries, storytelling videos, educational content, and talking-head videos.
Create engaging edits using relevant B-roll footage, stock videos, images, screenshots, and other visual assets.
Maintain strong pacing, storytelling, and audience retention throughout each video.
Add smooth transitions, sound effects, background music, and appropriate audio enhancements.
Create clean and engaging text animations, motion graphics, zooms, highlights, and other visual elements where needed.
Edit talking-head footage with effective jump cuts, B-roll overlays, captions, and supporting visuals.
Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup, and overall video polishing.
Follow client-specific editing styles, references, and brand guidelines.
Organize project files properly and deliver high-quality videos within agreed deadlines.
Communicate effectively with the team and implement feedback and revisions professionally.

Requirements & Qualifications

Strong experience in YouTube video editing, particularly in faceless documentaries or talking-head content.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects.
A strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and audience retention.
Ability to find and use relevant B-roll, images, and supporting footage effectively.
Good knowledge of sound design, music selection, transitions, and basic color grading.
Ability to follow reference videos and reproduce a specific editing style.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
A portfolio or previous work samples demonstrating your editing skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience editing documentary, true crime, investigative, business, finance, history, or educational YouTube content.
Experience with talking-head videos, personal brands, podcasts, or creator-focused content.
Knowledge of motion graphics, animated text, visual callouts, and screen-based animations.
Experience editing high-retention videos for established YouTube channels.
Ability to adapt to different niches and editing styles depending on the project.
