Youtube Video Editor and Content Publisher

We are looking for a talented video editor to contribute to a serious, long-form documentary series that delves into Islamic governance, economic justice, and political critique. This series targets a general Muslim audience and blends cinematic storytelling with well-researched, evidence-based content. Each episode runs between 12 to 15 minutes and features on-camera presentations enhanced by motion graphics, AI-generated B-roll, animated data overlays, and kinetic subtitles. The ideal candidate will have a strong connection to the subject matter and possess advanced technical editing skills to bring this vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
Edit high-quality videos primarily for YouTube using advanced software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut Pro, and Cinema 4D. Enhance storytelling through the use of video effects, kinetic typography, smooth transitions, and motion graphics. Employ AI video generation tools like Google Flow and CapCut Pro to create engaging visual elements that complement the narrative.

Develop and execute content strategies tailored for social media platforms, with a focus on YouTube, ensuring the themes of Islamic politics and economics resonate effectively with the target audience. Manage video SEO by optimizing titles, descriptions, tags, and closed captions to increase discoverability and viewer engagement, utilizing YouTube Analytics and SEO best practices.

Create detailed storyboards and scripts that maintain the cinematic style and cultural relevance of each episode. Design eye-catching thumbnails and graphics aimed at maximizing click-through rates and audience retention. Produce accurate bilingual captions and subtitles in Urdu and English by carefully transcribing Roman Urdu content to improve accessibility.

Monitor video performance through analytics tools and adjust content strategies to enhance viewer engagement and channel growth. Maintain high standards of cinematic rhythm, pacing, and sound design to evoke the intended emotional impact. Work independently by proactively identifying challenges and implementing creative solutions to ensure smooth project execution without supervision. Stay current with the latest trends and tools in video editing and social media marketing to continuously improve content quality and reach.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of five years of professional experience in video editing is essential. Proficiency in advanced editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut Pro, and Cinema 4D is required. Strong knowledge of video SEO and social media content strategies, particularly for YouTube, is necessary.

Candidates must be capable of creating and editing content that is culturally and thematically aligned with Islamic political and economic topics. Experience with AI video generation tools and modern kinetic typography is important. Excellent skills in producing accurate bilingual captions and subtitles (Urdu and English) are required. A keen eye for cinematic storytelling techniques and video editing trends is essential.

The role requires a willingness to travel 100% as needed and the ability to work in-person at the designated location.

Compensation
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs100,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
