Zealancy is seeking a skilled YouTube Video Editor proficient in storytelling, motion design, and AI visual generation to transform raw footage and creative concepts into compelling, high-retention YouTube content. This full-time onsite role is based in Karachi, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Compensation ranges from PKR 45,000 to 120,000+ per month, depending on skill, portfolio, experience, and trial performance. The position primarily involves editing documentary-style, talking-head, creator-led, and long-form YouTube videos. Candidates will be evaluated based on their portfolio, creative judgment, and technical ability rather than traditional job titles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final delivery, ensuring strong storytelling and pacing.
- Develop engaging intros and hooks that capture viewer curiosity and maintain attention.
- Structure videos with a focus on viewer retention, pacing, and narrative flow.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, typography, animations, and visual effects.
- Use B-roll, graphics, screenshots, stock footage, music, and sound effects purposefully to enhance storytelling.
- Generate and incorporate AI visuals for storytelling, B-roll, concepts, and creative sequences using tools like Higgsfield AI and similar platforms.
- Blend AI-generated visuals with traditional editing, motion design, and sound to maintain visual consistency.
- Apply basic color correction and grading as needed.
- Translate scripts, dialogue, and creative concepts into engaging visual sequences.
- Accurately reproduce editing styles based on references without copying blindly.
- Apply basic graphic design and layout principles when creating visual assets.
- Manage revisions professionally and efficiently.
- Take ownership of projects and communicate any blockers promptly.
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Solid understanding of motion design, animation, pacing, rhythm, sound design, and visual composition.
- Good typography and layout judgment with basic skills in color correction and grading.
- Expertise in B-roll selection and visual storytelling.
- Effective project organization and asset management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot routine editing and workflow issues independently.
- Hands-on experience with AI visual generation and AI-assisted creative workflows, including familiarity with Higgsfield AI or similar tools.
- Ability to generate, refine, and integrate AI visuals while maintaining visual consistency, realism, and quality.
- Strong English comprehension, especially for working with English-language scripts.
- Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling, viewer retention, and what makes strong intros and openings.
- Ability to analyze and explain why certain editing decisions work and make purposeful creative choices.
- Familiarity with high-quality creator-led content and channels such as Johnny Harris and Colin & Samir.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
