TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of proven software development experience in PHP using Codeigniter MVC framework.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook etc)
- Experience with integrating payment gateways.
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Should be passionate about software and code quality and be aware of automated testing practices and methods
- Be highly proficient with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Knows the value of writing clean, elegant and well documented code
- Be up to speed with tools such as Git, Invision
- Be up to speed with Bash and knows their way around a linux server via the terminal and knows the basics of a LAMP or Nginx stack.
- Fast learner of new and emerging technologies and workflows
- Proficient command over (PHP, Codeigniter, mySQL, HTML, jQuery, AJAX, AngularJS, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Stripe, PayPal)
- Proficient in Data Base Management Tools (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Soft skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Quality oriented, gives special attention to the finer details of the requirements and solutions.
- Attitude of meeting deadlines and targets
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5 years of software development experience in PHP Frameworks (CodeIgniter)
NICE TO HAVES
- Knowledge of google location API's or Geo Location
- Software development experience with highly trafficked web properties
- Portfolio, GitHub (or other open-source account), list of published works
- Stack Overflow contributions
