As the CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for external customers, vendors, and other clients to help improve and increase business. You will play an integral role in setting the company's strategic direction, development and future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
- Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and hiring decisions.
- Identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
- Optimize infrastructure assets to meet financial targets.
- Establish technology standards and practices; ensure adherence.
- Consolidate technology platforms and create plans for each.
- Monitor technology performance metrics.
- Oversee system design and architectural changes.
- Stay updated on new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
- Initiate thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations for new products and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in software, technology solutions, and e-commerce.
- Previous experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role.
- BS / MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of web systems architecture, design, and development.
- Proven experience with complex project management.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in negotiation and vendor management.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
