Technical staff for the media Team

Zarrar & Co. seeks a highly skilled Technical Staff member for the Media Team to operate and maintain various media and network equipment crucial to company events and activities. The role involves hands-on management of cameras, audio devices, lighting setups, and media equipment, ensuring high-quality video recordings, live coverage, and photography. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in network configuration, firewall and VPN management, alongside proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration. The position requires diligent troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of all equipment to support smooth operations during media production. This role demands coordination with the Media/Creative Team to meet production needs, technical support during shoots, and assistance in post-production tasks such as basic video editing. Candidates should be experienced in managing and organizing media files and backups while maintaining strict quality standards for audio and video output. Although this position does not include managing a team, it calls for effective collaboration skills to ensure that the technical aspects of media production align with project requirements at Zarrar & Co.
Responsibilities

Operate and maintain professional cameras, microphones, lighting, and related media equipment to support company events and activities.
Handle video recording and photography tasks, including live coverage, ensuring clarity and quality in all media outputs.
Set up technical equipment carefully before production, including configuring wireless and wired network settings to optimize connectivity and performance.
Perform basic video editing and provide post-production support to enhance the final media artifacts as required.
Manage and organize digital media files, footage, and backups to maintain an efficient and secure media library.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving cameras, audio systems, lighting equipment, and recording devices promptly to minimize downtime.
Coordinate effectively with the Media and Creative teams to understand and deliver on production requirements, schedules, and technical specifications.
Support site and project documentation through professional photography and videography to capture accurate visual records.
Ensure all technical equipment is regularly maintained, inspected for faults, and safely stored to prolong operational life and ensure safety compliance.
Utilize network monitoring tools and diagnostics such as Wireshark, ping utilities, and traceroute to troubleshoot network issues affecting media equipment.
Maintain network configurations involving Cisco networking devices, firewall management, VPN technologies, and DNS management to support secure data flow during media productions.
Administer Linux and Windows server environments, including Active Directory management, to support backend infrastructure utilized in media operations.
Implement wireless networking protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and manage Wi-Fi connectivity to facilitate seamless media team communications and data transfers.
