Zarrar & Co. seeks a dedicated Technical Support Staff specializing in video editing to support its media production needs. The ideal candidate possesses practical experience in video editing, drone operation, and videography, capable of creating compelling visual content for various social media platforms. This role involves hands-on use of professional video editing software, cameras, drones, and other related equipment. The person will ensure high-quality video production that aligns with project requirements and deadlines while assisting in content planning and managing media archives. This position requires a strong technical background combined with creativity and attention to detail. The individual will work closely with management and media teams to deliver polished video content that enhances project visibility. While this role does not involve managing a team, the candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in outdoor and construction site environments, and maintain equipment with care and professionalism.
Responsibilities

  • Operate drones, cameras, gimbals, microphones, and lighting equipment safely and professionally during site visits, events, and project milestones.
  • Conduct drone photography and videography ensuring strict compliance with all applicable safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Capture high-quality videos and photographs, accurately framing and lighting each shot to meet project standards.
  • Perform basic to intermediate video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software to create compelling video content.
  • Edit videos tailored for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring proper formatting and engaging content.
  • Prepare professional project progress videos, reels, promotional videos, and presentations that effectively communicate project milestones and highlights.
  • Organize and maintain an orderly archive of video footage, photographs, project files, and media assets, ensuring easy retrieval and backup.
  • Ensure all equipment including cameras, drones, and gimbals are stored properly and undergo routine maintenance to maintain optimal performance.
  • Assist with content planning by coordinating shoot schedules and site visits in collaboration with management and media teams.
  • Collaborate closely with management and media personnel to understand project scopes, deadlines, and content requirements, ensuring timely delivery of all assigned media content.
  • Maintain backup copies of important project footage and media files to avoid loss of critical data.
  • Support other technical and media-related tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities.
  • Travel to project sites as necessary to capture required content, adapting to various outdoor environments and construction site conditions.
