MEAN Stack Developer is responsible for building modern web applications using the latest back-end and front-end technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with managers to determine MEAN Stack technology needs and envisaged functionalities.
- Building interactive data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend.
- Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and salable product with a minimal footprint.
- Architect, Develop, test, and deploy robust products that are fast, scalable, and highly responsive.
- Design and maintain large and complex databases, both relational and non-relational databases.
- Establish, refine and integrate development environment tools and software as needed
- Identify production and non-production application issues as a part of the deployment.
- Deploy applications on servers with the ability to quickly debug hosting related issues.
- Managing available resources such as hardware, data, and personnel so that deadlines are met
- Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
- Develop specialist knowledge in relevant programming languages, tools, techniques and apply expertise and knowledge to deliver effective solutions.
- Share expertise and provide technical advice and guidance to others.
- Implement standard processes, tools, metrics, measurement, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in software development processes.
- Pro-actively demonstrate required behavior in line with expectations of the role.
COMPETENCIES DESIRED:
- Understanding of MEAN Stack Architecture (MongoDB, Express JS, Angular JS Node JS), extension architecture, theme hierarchy, and fallback components.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
- Knowledge of web development, continuous integration, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC and experience developing in an Agile environment.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience implementing applications using React.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superb organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Broad knowledge of a range of software development and delivery life cycles, agile, iterative, waterfall with detailed knowledge of one or more.
- Knowledge of different vendors’ DevOps products, pros & cons of industry DevOps tools.
- Agile software product development techniques.
- Collaborative development and working in virtual teams requiring good communication with business customers and technology teams
