Responsibilities:
- Smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
- Finishes concrete surfaces, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish
- Signals concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete
- Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms with rake or shovel
- Levels concrete to specified the depth and workable consistency, with handheld screen and floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping
- Smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
- Experience building precast products, including form set-up, wire mesh, pour and finish
Minimum Qualifications:
- High Diploma or Equivalent
- Concrete finishing experience; 1+ years experience in a precast environment, a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, while following safety procedures
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Good visual acuity
- Willingness and flexibility to assist the team with all types of work set-up, casting, and finish.
