Microsoft Windows and Azure Cloud Engineers

ZEALS TECH is seeking experienced Microsoft Windows and Azure Cloud Engineers to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of proven experience managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms and Windows Server environments. They will demonstrate expertise in Active Directory both on-premises and intra-AD, along with hands-on skills in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. Candidates will be responsible for designing scalable and resilient cloud solutions, managing complex network environments including routing, switching, and firewall configurations, and employing scripting languages such as PowerShell to automate deployment and operational processes. The role demands strong remote support capabilities, effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional and remote teams, and a deep understanding of cloud security best practices and infrastructure monitoring. This position does not involve managing a team; however, it requires self-motivated individuals who can work independently and as part of a broader team to resolve technical challenges swiftly. In addition, candidates must possess relevant Microsoft certifications and be adept at managing Microsoft 365 solutions such as Exchange Online and Intune. The ability to implement policies and procedures, troubleshoot client issues remotely, and maintain high client satisfaction under varied schedules is essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including on-premises and intra-AD configurations.
Manage SQL Server instances and clustering to ensure high availability and performance.
Oversee Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 solutions, including device management through Intune.
Deploy, configure, and manage virtualization environments using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Design, implement, and scale Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure for capacity, resilience, and security.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and deployment processes.
Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., SonicWall), and VPN tunnels such as Site-to-Site and Dial-up.
Monitor system performance using tools such as Real User Monitoring (RUM) and implement optimization strategies.
Implement and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
Provide timely remote support and troubleshooting for clients via phone and remote sessions to ensure minimal downtime.
Collaborate effectively with internal and remote teams, coordinating work across different schedules and locations.
Ensure adherence to security best practices including Azure Active Directory management, network security, and cloud security protocols.
Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure configurations, updates, and incidents.
Continuously learn new technologies and stay updated on changes within the Microsoft and cloud ecosystems.
Assist in code build and deployment to streamline cloud operations and enhance service delivery.
