Scope:

  • We are looking for Finance Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization.
  • He will be handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
  • An ideal candidate should have extensive hands on experience in all aspects of the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial and business advice to drive strategic investment decisions.
  • Advise the business on financial implications with respect to major changes, such as integration and reengineering.
  • Act as a financial advisor for cross-functional projects to support appropriate investment and financial analysis.
  • Build effective relationships to enhance the company’s business and statutory reputation within the local legal framework.
  • Subject expertise on “Taxation laws and understanding”
  • Manage external auditors and effectively manage the integration of financial services.
  • Change business requirements to adapt to the external market and industry changes and adjusting financial structure and processes.
  • Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Processes financial documents and data in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Analyze budgets on a monthly basis and reports status of each account.
  • Research and analyze financial reports and market trends.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all reconciling items are cleared out each month where required.
  • Preparation of quarterly forecasts including monthly re-forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Review of individual company cash-flows and consolidation into the group cash-flow on a monthly basis.
  • Ensures all business transactions are reasonable, appropriate, and comply with operational policies and procedures.
  • Preparation of a realistic balanced annual budget; controlling of expenditures in accordance with approved budget; Proper Management of Funds.
  • Ensure the financial controls in all operational processes.
  •  Monitoring of financial and operational risks, Recommendation of solutions to supervisor for addressing operational risks
  • Advise the board on needed resources, facilities, capital and operating needs.
  •  Measurement of effectiveness in time management; initiative and independent action within prescribed limits.
  • Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

Other Criteria:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills as well as general accounting experience and knowledge
  • The ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Education:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): BBA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, economics, or related field from a reputed University

Work experience:

  • 4 to 7 years work experience in the same capacity
