Zixel is seeking a skilled CAD Developer with at least one year of experience to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, particularly specialized 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Creo. This role focuses on creating detailed, accurate, and innovative CAD models to support product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes. The CAD Developer will work closely with engineers and designers to translate concepts into high-quality digital designs, ensuring that all project requirements and specifications are met precisely.
This position does not involve managing a team but requires collaboration across multiple departments to deliver CAD solutions that enhance product performance and production efficiency. A detail-oriented mindset combined with technical expertise is essential for producing models that integrate seamlessly into the development workflow. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Creo to support engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Interpret and transform engineering sketches, concepts, and specifications into precise CAD models adhering to industry and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, product managers, and manufacturing specialists to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
- Review and update existing CAD models to incorporate design changes or improvements based on testing feedback and manufacturing requirements.
- Assist in maintaining CAD libraries by organizing and standardizing templates, parts, and assemblies to improve efficiency.
- Perform quality checks on CAD data to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project guidelines before design release.
- Support rapid prototyping and iterative design processes by quickly generating and modifying CAD models in response to internal and external feedback.
- Stay current with the latest CAD software updates, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve modeling techniques and output quality.
- Document design processes, model revisions, and project progress to maintain clarity and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide technical input during design reviews and offer solutions to potential manufacturing or assembly challenges identified within CAD models.
