This fully remote role requires an individual who excels at identifying bugs, verifying feature functionality, and ensuring the overall quality of software products. The position involves following detailed test plans, documenting findings with clarity, and collaborating closely with the development team to improve product quality. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess strong written and spoken English communication skills to effectively report issues and interact with team members. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in software testing, particularly with web and mobile applications, and is comfortable working with AI-powered systems. This role demands flexibility with work hours, including some overlap with US Central Time business hours, to ensure timely communication and issue resolution. While no team management responsibilities are involved, the tester must stay organized, maintain rigorous testing standards, and take ownership of assigned tasks to contribute to flawless product releases.
Responsibilities

Execute automated, performance, and manual testing on AI-powered web and mobile applications to uncover defects and ensure functionality aligns with specifications.
Follow comprehensive written test plans and checklists meticulously to verify features, workflows, user interfaces, and overall application behavior.
Identify and document bugs, broken workflows, UI layout issues, and any unexpected behaviors with detailed reports including reproduction steps and screenshots.
Re-test resolved issues promptly to confirm fixes are effective and that no new issues have emerged.
Communicate clearly and promptly with team members when encountering unclear requirements, blocked tasks, or ambiguous test cases to facilitate rapid resolution.
Work independently under flexible schedules while maintaining organization and prioritizing test tasks to meet project deadlines.
Assist in validating new features ahead of release to ensure smooth functionality and a high-quality user experience for AI-based applications.
Adapt quickly to new software tools, testing methodologies, and evolving product requirements within a remote work environment.
Maintain reliable and consistent responsiveness to communications during overlapping hours with US Central Time business schedules.
Contribute to ongoing refinement of testing processes and documentation to enhance the overall quality assurance practice within the company.
