ACCOUNTANT

Zulfiqar Industries is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, maintaining the general ledger, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes. This position is suited for a motivated individual with at least one year of experience or a fresh graduate eager to develop their accounting skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Although this role does not involve team management, the candidate will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. The Accountant will utilize ERP software efficiently to streamline transactional processes and record-keeping activities. A strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in financial data are essential. Responsibilities

Perform accurate account reconciliations to ensure correctness of financial records.
Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and in a timely manner.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently, ensuring all payments and invoices are processed correctly.
Utilize ERP software to record, track, and analyze financial data harmoniously with company procedures.
Prepare periodic financial reports, summaries, and documentation for internal and external auditing purposes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary accounting support and reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to financial record keeping and reporting.
Support internal controls by maintaining organized records and identifying discrepancies in the financial data.
Communicate effectively with other departments to facilitate smooth financial operations and data flow.
Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices to optimize departmental performance.
