Medical Billing Executive

Zyphier is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Executive with at least one year of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in medical coding and billing procedures, with a clear understanding of insurance claims processing and patient invoicing. This role involves managing a team of four individuals, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in billing operations. The candidate must be able to work night shifts and demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare providers and insurance companies. The Medical Billing Executive will play a critical role in ensuring that billing cycles are handled correctly and timely. This position requires familiarity with medical billing software and coding standards such as CPT and ICD-10. Candidates with relevant certifications like CPC or CPB are preferred. The role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle various billing and claims-related tasks while leading and mentoring a small team to maintain productivity and quality service standards.
Responsibilities

Manage the medical billing operations and lead a team of four employees to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
Perform medical coding using CPT and ICD-10 standards to accurately classify diagnoses and procedures.
Process and verify insurance claims to facilitate prompt reimbursement from insurance companies.
Generate patient invoices and handle billing queries to maintain transparent communication with patients and healthcare providers.
Utilize medical billing software to enter, review, and update billing information with high accuracy.
Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations related to medical billing and coding.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and denied claims.
Train and supervise team members to optimize billing productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes, coding updates, and policy modifications that affect billing procedures.
Work night shifts effectively, managing time and resources to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to liaise between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance entities.
Prepare regular reports on billing activities, claim status, and team performance for management review.
