- Manage all phases of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
- Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
- Enter transactions into accounting system
- Account reconciliations
- Bank transactions and reconciliations
- Expense report processing and review
- Enter payroll into accounting system and reconcile with payroll service reports
- Prepare various reports for management
- Prepare month-end job closings
- Maintain Accounting files
- Perform other duties as assigned
We are searching for someone with at least 5+ years similar accounting/bookkeeping experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- MUST have experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted accounting practices
- Ability to resolve accounting discrepancies and handle basic bookkeeping tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
