World Education Centre (WEC) is a UK based organisation, established with a vision to ‘brighten the world’ and a valuable addition to the number of international education providers working to change people’s life.

WEC promotes the advancement of vocational and technical skills to create and enhance employment opportunities. We are an independent employer-led organisation with a mission to develop professional skills in students of every age by providing work-based learning besides offering qualifications at school, college level.

WEC started operating in Pakistan in early 2009 with full focus on employability. We view education as a gem in the cultural wealth, exciting bridges of communication and enriching connections between people’s diversity. This is why we value cross-cultural exchanges and relationships in our innovative approach.

WEC has signed a global contract with UK’s largest exams awarding body, Edexcel and world’s leading computer-based testing authority, Pearson Vue. WEC is setting-up a network of Training and Testing Centres for these examination boards in Pakistan.

WEC is offering a large range of Edexcel’s BTEC qualifications in the country and is striving to enhance the standards of education in Pakistan. We focus on teachers’ training as a key to offer quality education to Pakistan’s upcoming generations and increase employability by providing them effective and hands-on education.

Pearson Vue and Edexcel business development and operations teams work very close with WEC to enhance qualification standards in the developing countries and enhance their presence in the existing markets.
