Brand Republic is offering a full-time, three-month internship for a creative and passionate 2D Animator Intern based in Karachi. This role is designed for students or recent graduates who are eager to enhance their skills in 2D animation, motion graphics, character animation, and digital content creation. The internship provides hands-on experience working on real client projects such as social media campaigns, explainer videos, and branded content. Interns will learn industry-standard animation workflows while working on-site during night shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM at P.E.C.H.S Block 06, Karachi.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing engaging 2D animations for social media, digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, and explainer videos.
- Animate illustrations, icons, text, and characters following storyboards and creative briefs.
- Develop basic motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers, video editors, and content teams to deliver high-quality visual content.
- Revise animation projects based on feedback while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Organize animation files and project assets efficiently to maintain workflow.
- Stay informed about the latest animation techniques and design trends to continuously improve work quality.
Required Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Understanding of fundamental animation principles such as timing, spacing, easing, and motion.
- Basic knowledge of character animation and motion graphics.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Diploma, certification, or ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Multimedia Arts, Media Sciences, Fine Arts, or related fields.
