  • Conduct in-depth research on Pakistan's feature phone and smartphone markets, analyze consumer preferences, channel structures, regulatory policies, and competitor dynamics to assist in formulating localized product strategies.
  • Identify region-specific demands (e.g., religious calendars, loudspeakers, waterproof/dustproof features) and explore product localization solutions.
  1. Local Roadmap Management:
  • Participate in local product planning, define core selling points (e.g., pricing tiers, hardware configurations, localized OS features), assist in pricing strategies, and drive execution.
  • Monitor post-launch product performance, leveraging sales data and user feedback to drive iterative optimizations.
  1. Collaboration with Headquarters:
  • Coordinate between domestic product teams and overseas local teams to resolve compliance issues (certifications, data privacy), supply chain, and after-sales challenges.
  • Support local marketing and sales teams in planning culturally aligned campaigns (e.g., Ramadan promotions, KOL collaborations).
  1. Competitive Barrier Development:
  • Research regional competitive landscape and formulate differentiated strategies against rival brands.
  • Explore customized product requirements with local partners (e.g., telecom operators, distributors).

  Requirements:

  1. Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working with mobile phone brands, 5+ years in the mobile industry.
  • Full lifecycle experience in at least 1 locally launched mobile product.
  1. Core Competencies:
  • Strong market insight: Ability to extract insights from user interviews, GFK/NPD data, etc.
  • Deep understanding of the Pakistani market:✓ Familiarity with key competitors (Infinix/Tecno/Samsung’s local strategies).✓ Knowledge of overall market trends and regional dynamics.✓ Expertise in consumer purchasing habits and decision-making journeys.
  • Cross-cultural management skills: Adaptability to multicultural teamwork, adept at managing time zones and communication gaps.
  • Risk anticipation: Awareness of local tariffs, import/export policies, and industry standards (e.g., CE/FCC certifications).
  1. Language Requirements:
  • Native Urdu + business English proficiency.
  • Chinese language skills are a plus (to liaise with China HQ teams).
