Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead

We are looking for inquisitive people who understand “how things work”.
You will have an open mind for new ideas and technologies and will be constantly trying to expand their knowledge.
Skills in the following areas will be advantageous in this role:
Ability to work with GNU/Linux environments
Python 3
Django
Docker (Compose)
Git
Comfortable with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Experience with SQL databases (NoSQL knowledge desirable)
Experience with Python Dependency management
Experience writing API/Project documentation (Swagger (Open API)/Sphinx or similar
Knowledge of queue/worker-based technologies (Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS) etc
Ability to debug and maintain existing legacy code as well as develop new functionality and services to meet requirements within a service-oriented architecture
Good knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented development, design patterns and coding best practices
Skills listed below are desirable but by no means essential. You’re enthusiasm and passion for the role are far more important:
Django -> Jinja
Knowledge of RESTful design
Experience with pytest/unittest or similar
Experience with Gitlab (CI) or similar
The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas

Technical skills:

Good knowledge of Python Development any of the below are beneficial.
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
A good working knowledge of Python
Node.JS
Experience with Object Oriented programming methodologies and software design principles
Experience using Wagtail CMS
Experience working with version control systems (eg GIT)
