We are a UK based professional Accountancy firm and are looking for a high calibre, full-time, qualified (CA, ACA, ACCA) Chartered Accountant to join our team.

Based in Islamabad, you will become an integral part of our team and will work closely with UK based Client Managers and support them in delivering excellent client services.

Your working hours will be 12pm – 7:30pm Pakistan time.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate, must have exceptional experience of:

writing up accounting records (sales invoices, purchase invoices, payroll and other journals)
reconciling bank and other control accounts using Xero and Receipt Bank accounting software
preparing monthly/weekly payrolls and VAT Returns
preparing sole trader/partnership accounts and tax returns
preparing statutory UK limited company accounts and CT600 returns
experience of preparing management accounts

Technical Skills / Knowledge

CA/ACA/ACCA Qualified
Bachelors Degree or higher
5 years experience
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH formulas)
Good knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax and VAT and the impact on accounts and client’s overall affairs
Good knowledge of the statutory and technical aspects concerning a set of UK limited company accounts
Good knowledge of main accounting systems in the market place (eg Xero, Quickbooks. Sage etc)
Ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked
Ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with clients
