We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business by targeting and acquiring clients through platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and direct client engagements. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to target and acquire clients through Upwork, Fiverr, and direct client engagements.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Build a strong online presence by creating compelling profiles and portfolios on Upwork, Fiverr, and other relevant platforms.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients, showcasing our services, and persuasively communicating the value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, proposals, and marketing materials that highlight our strengths and capabilities.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and diligently follow up to convert leads into clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize project terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the clients and our company.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, client acquisition, and revenue generation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on acquiring clients through platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and direct client engagements.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Upwork and Fiverr platforms, including their features, bidding processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and meet revenue targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with web development services, digital marketing, or related industries is preferred.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong portfolio of successful client acquisition and revenue generation through Upwork, Fiverr, and direct client channels is highly desirable.
