We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, familiarity with accounting software, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers and reconcile statements
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns (sales tax, income tax, withholding tax)
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Prepare and process payroll
- Maintain inventory and cost accounting records for electrical products
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Coordinate with sales and procurement departments for payment follow-ups and vendor reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CA Inter/M.Com preferred)
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company - freshies will also be considered
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems, Excel)
- Strong understanding of taxation and financial regulations in Pakistan
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
